I booked Brian and Caroline in 2018 for their wedding this year. From that first meeting I could already tell they would have an amazing wedding day because they really showed how much they loved each other and how excited they were to be married. Their engagement session at Alley Park was so much fun. I don’t think I’ve laughed so much before and by the time it was over, my cheeks hurt from smiling!
The best part about Brian and Caroline is that they are unapologetically themselves. They’re hilarious and they don’t take anything too seriously. I love laidback couples because I feel like their pictures show more of their personalities. I’m so glad Brian and Caroline chose me to photograph their big day.
The weather was amazing for their wedding day. It was sunny with a breeze, so it wasn’t too hot. Their wedding was just like them: laid back and so much fun! It was at The Heart of the Country Event Barn in Rockbridge. It’s such a beautiful and rustic venue. I loved the arch for their ceremony and that you could see the hills behind them as they said their vows. Their vows were heartfelt, and I think everyone laughed when Brian triumphantly put his fist in the air before their first kiss as husband and wife.
Brian and Caroline’s wedding was the perfect start to my wedding season. This job has led me to meet many great people. I’m so grateful I was able to meet them and photograph such a happy day. Congratulations Brian and Caroline!
