Erin and Shehzad’s beautiful intimate wedding was at the Unitarian Fellowship of Athens in Athens, Ohio. They were married outside, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The simple decorations inside and out really fit the classic theme of their wedding. The entire day reflected their relationship as it was laid back and so personal to them. I really love how intimate it was!
Salaam catered Erin and Shehzad’s wedding. Everything looked delicious, and there were even homemade brownies and pies for dessert. I definitely made sure to snag a brownie! The centerpieces on the tables were games they both enjoy playing; something I’d never seen before. It’s a really neat way to customize a reception.
Erin and Shehzad chose to have a first look and it was such a special moment. They chose the perfect location- shaded by trees, with benches and a bird bath nearby. The moment was so peaceful and full of love. Erin was stunning in her nontraditional dress. Her headpiece was amazing and was inspired by Game of Thrones. Shehzad looked spiffy in his blue tux and his tie really went well with Erin’s wedding dress!
As a wedding photographer I have the privilege to witness all kinds of love stories and feel so many emotions secondhand. Erin and Shehzad’s wedding was no different as I spent the day seeing how they are so loved by all their friends and family. Congratulations Erin and Shehzad!
