I am often asked about my prices, RAW images, prints, and other wedding coverage details. I’ve gathered those frequently asked questions here and I hope you find these answers helpful. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at chloenhorvath@gmail.com with any extra questions.
What is your pricing?
My wedding collections start at $1,000. I have three collections to choose from and I also make custom collections! I believe that every couple deserves photos they enjoy from their wedding day.
How much is required down?
For weddings, I require 10% down to book your date.
How many photos do we get?
This is a really common question! You get all the photos that I take on your wedding day- other than duplicates, blurry ones, or those where someone is making a silly face or has their eyes closed. I also do not give out my RAW images. The couple only receives edited photographs.
What if we want to order extra prints?
All my clients receive an online gallery of their photos. I use a company called Pixieset, and from there you are able to order all the prints you want. They are sent straight to you; usually within 5 business days. They also sell other mediums, such as canvas.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
I do! If you choose my third wedding collection, you receive an engagement session for free! Also, I have a special going on right now: If you book your wedding with me by the end of 2018, you’ll receive a free engagement session regardless of the collection you choose.
Can we provide you with a shot list?
Yes. In fact, I encourage you to send me a shot list. I want to ensure that I take all the photos you want and that you enjoy your experience with me as your photographer. However, I do not guarantee images.
Can you hold a date for me?
The only way I will hold your wedding date is if you have put down a deposit.
If we’re running late, will you stay later at our wedding?
I understand that sometimes wedding timelines don’t go as planned, and that’s okay! I always plan to stay half an hour later. If I have to stay an hour or more over, I charge $100 per hour.
Do we need to feed you at the reception?
Yes please! My contract includes a 30-minute break and a hot meal. Allowing me to have a break keeps me happy and focused! I am able to serve you better with a full belly.
How far in advance should we book with you?
I would say to start looking for your photographer as soon as you get engaged! Dates tend to fill up quickly. If you book me far out in advance, there is less of a chance that I won’t have your date available!
Can our family and friends take photos as well?
Of course, if it’s okay with you! I ask that they do not swarm me during family photos as I want every individual to be focused on my camera. I welcome other cameras during dances, cake cutting, etc. if they respect my presence. I do not allow any family or friends to follow us when we do bridal shots and couples shots because other people can be distracting.
