I had the amazing opportunity to photograph Jackie and AJ’s wedding over a year ago at The Mercantile in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. It was such a beautiful day and so much fun! In honor of their anniversary and in celebration of their new home, we had an in-home session right before Christmas.
Jackie and AJ have such a cute home and some acreage so we started the session outside! They were champs braving it in the snow and freezing temps. We, of course, also had to have their pup, Maverick, in some photos. Jackie decorated their home beautifully for the Holidays and we made sure to grab some shots in front of the roaring fire and the Christmas trees.
In honor of their wedding day, we played their first dance song “Better Together” by Luke Combs and they danced in the kitchen. This was one of my favorite moments from that session and hopefully we created an amazing memory for them!
We wrapped up the session with some more photos with Maverick (I’m not complaining!) and then headed outside for some shots in the rocking chairs on their front porch. In-home sessions are a great way to celebrate your relationship and showcase the home you’ve made together.
