Jaidee and Keaton got married at The Riser Barn last month on a beautiful summer day! The weather had been showing rain all week long, but then it finally cleared up just in time. It ended up being such an amazing sunny day. I had never photographed at The Riser Barn before, so it was super nice to photograph somewhere new and get creative!
Jaidee's momma helped her into her dress and then she had a first look with her bridesmaids and then with her dad and brother! Jaidee's bridesmaids got super emotional and those are a couple of my favorite photos from the day. I always try to photograph bridesmaids and groomsmen separately before the ceremony and thankfully we had time to do that. Jaidee and her girls were so easy to photograph and I loved how Keaton and his guys wanted goofy photos.
Keaton smiled the whole time Jaidee walked down the aisle and I love how blue the sky was there entire ceremony! Their ceremony was short and sweet and perfect for them. I loved Keaton's reaction after they were pronounced husband and wife! After the ceremony, we photographed family formals and then the wedding party together. After the wedding party, we photographed Jaidee and Keaton together! I love these black and whites so much.
Jaidee and Keaton broke tradition and instead of the DJ normally announcing in the wedding party, Jaidee and Keaton announced the wedding party in themselves! Their commentary was hilarious and it had the guests laughing the whole time. After dinner was toasts and then of course the first dance and parent dances. I love the shot my second photographer, Samantha, got of Keaton and Jaidee dancing in front of all their guests. Keaton's mom was also very emotional during her dance with him and as a boy momma, I always tear up during these!
After the first dances, they cut the cake and then it was party time! Keaton and Jaidee took a small break and we took them out so they could read their private vows to each other. I really enjoy when couples do this. Private vows can be really intimate and I think it's sweet to have them read to each other privately instead of in front of all their guests. We wrapped up the night with some photos of Jaidee and Keaton in front of the barn and then went back in to capture some dancing photos. It was such a great day!
