La Prima Beauty- Recommended Vendor

Happy April! I am one month closer to the beginning of wedding season and I can hardly contain my excitement. This month, my recommended vendor is Natalie from La Prima Beauty. I’ve been blessed to work with Natalie on multiple occasions; she is amazing and always my number one choice for styled shoots!

When I asked Natalie what she loves most about her job, she said, “The best thing about my job is the feeling I get from making others feel good about themselves. Most of my clients sit in my chair and tell me they never wear makeup or do their hair. They are moms, wives, students, athletes, anyone and everyone. Often as women we tend to put others before ourselves. We forget what it's like to take care of ourselves first. When you look good, you feel good. It may sound cheesy, but I think it's true! It's not about vanity, it's about dignity and self-love. We are definitely our own worst critics too, so I try to take that mindset and turn it around. Every woman wants to feel beautiful. I am so lucky to be the person to channel that beauty. I have also always been artistically inclined and now I literally get to create art every day! It may not be a tangible object I'm creating, but the feelings afterwards certainly are. Plus, makeup is fun! The sky is the limit and you can literally create anything you can imagine. I'm most experienced with glamour and bridal beauty, but something I'm really interested in exploring more is special effects artistry. I find inspiration through my clients. I really try my best to bring out their inner beauty the way I'm seeing it in front of me. The makeup isn't what makes women beautiful, it's the character inside. Makeup is just the delicious frosting on the yummy cake!”

Natalie truly creates art when she does makeup and hair. Not only is she great at bringing out your inner model, but she also is wonderful to talk to. Natalie is the hair stylist for my best friend’s wedding and I’m so stoked to see her work on us!
