Emily and Todd got married on a beautiful September day at Northstar Golf Club in Sunbury, Ohio. It truly was a great day and the weather was perfect! Emily and Todd had their ceremony outside under the shade of some trees. They had some empty seats up front reserved for family members who had passed away; it was a beautiful way to honor those who couldn't be present physically.
Instead of the traditional wedding party, Emily and Todd had their daughters stand beside them during the ceremony. I love that they included their girls and made it obvious how important family is to them. The bouquets were stunning and I loved the color of the girl's dresses! Emily's dress was also beautiful and we admired the bow on the back all day.
One of my favorite things to capture during a ceremony is guests and family tearing up as the bride walks down the aisle. The groom's reaction is always important to capture, but I think it's also important to capture family. The officiant was Windi from Run to an Elopement who is absolutely wonderful and I'll always recommend her. Emily and Todd's ceremony was so beautiful and was one of my favorite parts of the day!
After the ceremony, we photographed family and then the girls with Emily and Todd and then just Emily and Todd together. I adore how their wedding portraits turned out! The lighting was so beautiful and Emily and Todd's outfits really popped against the trees. Northstar Golf Club is a wonderful wedding venue and I can't wait to be back one day!
After portraits, it was time for the reception! Emily and Todd's girls made a very heartfelt and emotional speech that had everyone crying! We ended the night with open dancing and their guests did not disappoint! Everyone was dancing! It was an amazing day and I'm so glad I was there to photograph it. Congrats again Emily and Todd!
