A Step by Step Guide for Booking CHP as your Wedding Photographer

Congratulations you're engaged! That's so exciting and if you're reading this post because you're interested in choosing me as your wedding photographer, just know I am so honored. I truly believe that it's an honor to be invited to witness the beginning of a marriage. Those who have known me for a while, know that I say this all the time, but I never take it for granted capture such an important day for a couple. I am really blessed to be able to not only witness, but to capture such amazing memories. I often leave a wedding day with my cheeks hurting from smiling so much throughout the day.

If you're interested in booking me as your wedding photographer and wondering where to begin.. reach out to me first! You can contact me via my website, Instagram, or Facebook. You can also email me at chloehorvathphotography@gmail.com. I recommend having your date chosen and venue booked before contacting me. The reason for that is because if you've chosen a date and I am available for that date, but your dream venue isn't, then you'd switch your date to a date that the venue is available for, but that I may not be available for.

If I'm available for your date, I love to meet for coffee to talk all things wedding day, what to expect from me on the day of, and your dreams/hopes for your wedding photography. This isn't required though and I sometimes meet clients for the first time in person on their wedding day. Either way, I still give my absolute best to make your dreams come true!

After you decide to book, I will send your contract and invoice via a client management site called Honeybook. I highly recommend you read the contract in full. The contract lays out what is included in your collection and when you will receive your photos, among other things. I do require a signed contract and a 30% deposit in order to hold your date. You have the ability to pay via Honeybook and you'll have access to your contract so you can always go back and view it if need be. We can also communicate through Honeybook as well! It's a pretty nifty system.

Once you're booked, I will mail a welcome package to you! This is just a simple little "thank you" for booking me. It comes with a wedding guide, pens, stickers, and sometimes cookies ;) I don't like to book couples and then not talk to them until the week of their wedding, so I'll check in with you frequently to see how planning is going and I also give my phone number so if you have any questions, I'm just a text away! I also offer to help create your timeline so your wedding day flows seamlessly and we can meet in person for that, or do it over the phone.

So there you have it! The process to book me as your wedding photographer is pretty simple and I promise to never leave you hanging. I only take on a limited number of wedding clients per year so that I have more time and energy to be the best I can be for you! Be on the lookout for a FAQ blog coming soon.. thanks for reading!
