Alie and David had their engagement session on their property in Carroll last week. I’m so grateful that Alie recommended it for their session because it’s so beautiful! There is a huge white barn that was awesome for a backdrop for some of their photos. There was also an abundance of fields. It was everything you’d ever need for a rustic engagement session!
Across the street there were still some buildings left from an old dairy farm, so we used those as well. I love the white wash brick on one of the buildings and the fencing and of course, the bean fields. I’ve dreamed of living on a hobby farm since I was little, so this shoot was super fun for me.
Alie and David were naturals in front of the camera! The lighting was perfect along with the weather. My favorite photos from their session were the ones on the abandoned dairy farm. I really like how the trees frame them and the lighting was just right. Alie and David are such a cute couple!
I really enjoyed romping through fields with them and am looking forward to their wedding day!
