Lauren and Cody's Wedding - Little Brook Meadows - Lancaster, Ohio

Lauren and Cody’s wedding was my first of the year due to a lot of May and most of my June weddings rescheduling to 2021. I was so excited to photograph this wedding! Lauren is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and it was an honor to photograph such a special moment. I was worried about how weddings might look now with all the restrictions and rules, but Lauren and Cody’s wedding was so much fun and full of love that I didn't worry the whole day!

Lauren and her dad had a super sweet first look. I think it was one of my favorite moments to photograph and of course, her sister buttoned her dress. I loved Lauren’s dress and especially that train! Stunning. Lauren and Cody also chose to have a private moment, but without seeing each other. I always recommend to couples who dont want to do a first look, that a private moment would be perfect!

Lauren and Cody tied the knot at Little Brook Meadows here in Lancaster. This was my first time shooting at Little Brook Meadows and it did not disappoint! There’s so many beautiful places to hold your ceremony. Lauren and Cody had their ceremony outside of the big white barn. It was gorgeous! One of my favorite moments from their ceremony was they put letters and pictures in a box that Cody had built himself. They plan to open it with a bottle of wine every anniversary to look back on such an amazing day!

Their reception was held inside the barn and everyone enjoyed the amazing food and good music. After months of missing my job and being able to photograph weddings, it felt so amazing to get back to it! As a mom myself, parent dances are one of my favorites. Lauren and her dad and Cody and his mom had some super sweet dances.

We wrapped up the day with some sunset photos by the dock. I love how these turned out! Even if the sunset isn’t a super pretty one, the lighting is always stunning! Thank you so much Lauren and Cody for choosing me to photograph your big day. It was such an honor and I wish you many many years of love and happiness!
