On Sunday, I had Michael’s senior session at Slate Run Metro Park. We chose to have the session at sunset and it was the best decision! The lighting was so pretty and the weather was practically perfect. My favorite part of Slate Run is that there are so many options for photos. The field I always use was mowed down, so I had to use a different one. It was a blessing in disguise as the new field was so much prettier and had a pop of color.
I really try to photograph my seniors and couples with props of things they enjoy. Michael is going to college for diesel mechanics, so of course, we had to take some shots with his truck, Lizzo. He also had a photo of his pup who had passed away. We ended the session with some shots with his momma, Linda!
I had a really great time with Michael and Linda. Michael has a goofy personality and we laughed the whole session. Senior sessions aren’t normally what I photograph, but I’m really loving them! It’s nice to step away from weddings sometimes and do something different.
