Savanna and Tyler tied the knot last month at The Skylight in Newark, Ohio. I think their wedding is one of my favorites so far. It was not only beautiful, but they were surrounded by so many friends and family who truly love them!
The Skylight is the old Newark Post Office, so it has a great reception area with huge windows. It’s a great venue for a bigger indoor wedding. Savanna and Tyler said their vows in front of an arch covered in pink and white flowers and had a unity candle lighting before the end of the ceremony. It’s really sweet when couples personalize their ceremony!
Savanna had one of her flower girls walk her dog, Ellie, down the aisle as the Dog of Honor. As you all know, I love dogs, so of course I had to snap a couple pictures of her. I think one of my favorite moments from the wedding was Savanna and Tyler’s first dance. They are so loving towards each other that they make you smile just from looking at them! Savanna’s little sisters were also a hoot on the dance floor and busted out some crazy dance moves.
I think we all had so much fun during their portraits. One of the best parts about my job is when I am able to truly be myself in front of my couples. We had a lot of laughs and the ending result was amazing! Savanna and Tyler are such a joy to be around and as I edited their photos, I found myself laughing all over again.
Savanna and Tyler, what an honor to photograph your big day. I wish you two a long life of love and happiness. You truly deserve it!
