I met Carlene and Cole for the first time a couple months ago when they booked a mini session with me and I was able to see them again at their engagement session a couple weekends ago! Carlene really wanted to have their session on the family farm in Somerset and I’m so glad she suggested it. Locations that mean something to my couples always make the session so much better!
I love how their photos turned out. Carlene’s family owns a lot of acreage, so we had free reign to walk around and find spots for photos. We started at the old barn and then went down the hill to a cove of trees. I’m so grateful they were willing to walk down the hill, full of ticks, because the lighting was amazing! Anyone who knows me well knows I hate ticks and I found multiple crawling on me during the session. I probably looked like a crazy person flicking them off and looking for others, but it was so worth it!
When we were done with the cove of trees, we headed up to the driveway where the lighting was even better. These photos are some of my favorites from the session! Carlene and Cole trusted me enough to lay down in the grass and use the garage for some photos. It’s so cool how something simple like a garage can make for good photos.
I can't wait to celebrate with Carlene and Cole in November!
