Skyler and Jon - Crockett's Run - Logan, Ohio

Two of my friends, Sky and Jon, got married last month at Crockett’s Run in Logan, Ohio. They booked me around two years ago for their wedding and at the time, they were planning to get married in a church and have a catholic ceremony. Throughout the past two years, Sky and Jon have been through a lot with wedding planning, but I’m so glad that they ended up getting married the way they wanted to! It was a beautiful day.

Sky had a first look with her dad and then with Jon! The first look between her and her dad was incredibly emotional. I may or may not have been wiping tears behind my camera! During Sky’s first look with Jon, they shared private vows; just the two of them. It was so sweet to see them tear up as they promised to love each other forever. After their first look, we did wedding party portraits and Sky and Jon’s photos. Because Sky and Jon had a smaller wedding, we had a bunch of time for photos and were able to relax before the ceremony.

The ceremony was by this beautiful tree and a pond. It was short and sweet and perfect for them! After the ceremony, we did family formals, more portraits of Sky and Jon and then had the reception. I loved Sky’s dance with her dad and Jon’s dance with his mom was super sweet. After dancing they cut the cake! The cake was amazing and Jon’s facial expressions say it all.

After the reception, we had some time to run out for sunset photos. These are my favorite photos from the day! Sky and Jon brought smoke bombs that were super fun to use. Although the bombs were a bit stinky and I think Jon was struggling to breathe and Sky ended up burning herself - they were still fun and made for some cool photos. We do what we need to for the shot!

Over the past two years, I’ve become friends with Sky and Jon so watching them tie the knot on their wedding day was even more special for me. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
