I went to high school with Dani and have photographed her and Nathan together before, so when she reached out wanting to do a session to announce her pregnancy, of course I said yes! A couple of days before their session, Nathan messaged me on Instagram and said he was planning to propose during the session and wanted to talk about poses that we would do so he could propose without her suspecting. I was so excited and nervous for him; I love photographing surprise proposals!
Nathan ended up proposing the day before their session at a cook out with family and friends! I love that they were surrounded by loved ones during such an important moment and I was super stoked to be photographing not only their maternity announcement, but also their engagement announcement! It was double the fun. It means so much to me to be able to photograph couples through all the big life changes.
I'm so excited for Dani and Nathan and I can't wait to meet their little boy, Levi. They're going to be amazing parents!
